Nakamura prevailed in Armageddon to take the title, $30,000, and a place in the Champions Chess Tour Playoffs in December. Meanwhile 18-year-old Nodirbek Abdusattorov beat Maxime Vachier-Lagrave to win Division II and book a Division I spot for the next Tour event.
