It has been announced that the 2011 National Championship football team from Pittsburg State will be inducted into the MIAA Hall of Fame. The team will be inducted during the women's session (12 or 2:15 p.m.) of the semi-final round of the MIAA Basketball Tournament on March 5th at Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City. This will be the 21st team inducted into the MIAA Hall of Fame, the league's highest honor, since the inaugural class of 2010.
