As a die-hard pokéfan having my first Nintendo in my 30s, you can only imagine how my eyes shined when I watched those Pokémon Sword & Shield trailers throughout the year. What you didn't expect though is how dull my eyes got right in the first minute of my Pokémon Shield gameplay. (Yeah, I refuse to accept a wolf biting a sword.)
