I’ve been a casual RTS player since the mid 90s and enjoy them, but have never been particularly good at them. Recently I’ve picked up a couple basic things from watching competitive videos (max out resource collecting, learn keyboard shortcuts) which has shown me there are specific things you have to do to have success in RTS games.
