Charminar Biryani House is a love letter to Hyderabad - to the four-pillared monument that gave our kitchen its name, and to the slow art of dum: rice and meat sealed beneath dough, cooked over low coals until aroma becomes inheritance.
Every plate begins with whole spices we toast by hand: green cardamom, mace, star anise, cassia. Long-grain basmati is parboiled, layered with marinated chicken, goat, or lamb, then crowned with caramelized onions and saffron milk. Nothing rushed. Nothing shortcut.
Our tandoor blazes from morning to close - turning out smoky tandoori chicken, blistered naan, and seekh kebabs you can smell two doors down. We cook the way our families cooked, with patience as the secret ingredient.

One of my earliest introductions to Indian food, and after trying many places, the best Indian food I've had since! They seem to have strict quality standards which I appreciate. I always get the goat biryani, (and sometimes a paneer paratha,) but pretty much anything you get will be good.

The portions are always a great size and everything is still SO HOT by the time it gets to us. The Chicken Biryani comes with a side of yogurt sauce, and the chicken in both this and the 35. Chicken Curry melts in your mouth! 10/10
