What is the meaning of I want to mark you as my own? (I get that it's pretty NSFW'ish, but this sounds too vague for me)? - Question about English (US)
Descrição
Definition of "I want to mark you as my own"? (I get that it's pretty NSFW'ish, but this sounds too vague for me) Well, before you mentioned it was NSFW, I was going to say that "marking something as your own" normally meant "taking in something and adapting it so that it becomes your own". But if you're looking for the other kind of definition, I think that means taking up someone as a potential partner. The "mark" part is getting me worried there EDIT: I went to the beloved Internet (on incognito mode) and searched for the phrase. Yeah, uh, looks like that's just something you say when you're horny as heck or you're in the act already. Well uh. Now you know.|To mark someone as yours is to signify they belong to you. How literal that is varies, of course. I'd need more context to know exactly what they mean by "mark." It could be a collar, tattoo, ring, brand, bruise, etc. Something like a ring, collar, or brand is easy to interpret. Something like a bruise "marks" them as yours by exhibiting a physical indication of your control over their body. |“Mark” meaning to visually put some kind of sign/indicator that someone belongs to someone else. E.g: Bites, Scratches, Hickey’s, etc.
