Standard fighter model modified to carry extra light warheads; 2 ion torpedoes and slightly more armor. A Light Fighter, just refitted with Ion Torpedoes to give it the capability to do damage to ships. Given the health and speed, it's pretty much a light fighter, but with the capacity to strike ships, whilst still being capable of intercepting bombers.
