Green Hill Zone (グリーンヒルゾーン, Gurīn Hiru Zōn?) is the first Zone of the Mania Mode of Sonic Mania and Sonic Mania Plus, and the second Zone in the Encore Mode of Sonic Mania Plus. It serves as a re-imagination of Green Hill Zone from the original Sonic the Hedgehog for the Sega Mega Drive. Green Hill Zone is a tropical area located on South Island. As with most other Zones in Sonic Mania and Sonic Mania Plus, Green Hill Zone is composed of two Acts, with a boss fight at the end of both. In Act 1
