shine is a melee item in item asylum. Clicking with the shine equipped causes the user to 'shine', creating a momentary forcefield. When this happens, the user will be locked in place for approximately 0.3 seconds. Players who either are at point-blank range, or come within that range, will take 5 damage and be knocked back a short distance. While in the act of shining, the user cannot be harmed.
