Shadow the Hedgehog is a recurring character in the Sonic series. Shadow the Hedgehog was created and possibly cloned by the scientist Professor Gerald Robotnik on the space station known as 'The Ark' as to be a friend to Meria Robotnik, only to go into stasis after Meria was shot by a Soldier due to a military takeover. Shadow made his first appearance in Sonic Adventure 2, where he was awoken by Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik to help him with his plans. Shadow of cause, went to help Dr. Eggman and
