Red Wing 1/4-Scale Model Stationary Engine by Tim Junk, CO…
Descrição
Tim purchased 12 casting kits with the intent to sell completed engines to help pay for the kits and an engine or two he would keep. His inspiration came from an old family photo he found of his great grandfather on his farm standing next to the full size Red Wing engine. When Tim completed the scale engines and sold what he needed to recover his costs. It measures 14.5 inches long, 9.5 inches wide, and 13.5 inches tall including the oiler and base. It has a bore of 1.25 inch, a stroke of 2 inches, and it burns gasoline on spark ignition that is produced by a buzz coil at the rear of the engine. Michael Gombert received the engine from his friend Jim Barad and faithfully restored it to its present condition.
