Domaine Saint Andrieu Côtes de Provence Rosé - Kindred Vines
Descrição
WINEMAKER NOTES In the hills of the Provence countryside, near Brignoles, in the small village of Correns, the Domaine Saint Andrieu was acquired in 2003 by Jean-Paul and Nancy Bignon, owners of Château Talbot, cru-classé de Saint Julien in Médoc. This wine is ready to be enjoyed now or can be kept for up to two years. TASTING NOTES Quintessential Provencal grape varieties (Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah) give this rosé a light pink litchi color and a delicate citrus nose. The fresh and full mouth reveals a palate of passion fruit and citrus with a long and elegant finish. PAIRING SUGGESTIONS This delicious rosé pairs perfectly with Provencal cuisine such as stuffed garden vegetables or seared scallops with herbs from Provence. Ripe red-berry flavors shine with acidity and intensity, giving a spice and pepper character to the fruitiness. Drink this wine from late 2019. The estate is owned by the Bignon-Cordier family, also owners of Château Talbot in Bordeaux." - 90 points, Roger Voss, Wine Enthusiast "Light bright orange-pink. Aromas of white peach, raspberry and tangerine, along with a floral quality that builds in the glass. Supple and broad in the mouth, offering weighty pit fruit and red berry flavors that tighten up steadily on the back half. Nicely concentrated but lively as well. The velvety finish echoes the floral note." - 90 points, Josh Raynolds, Vinous "The 2018 Cotes de Provence Rose leads off with a seductive nose of wet stone, red currants and white grapefruit. It's light to medium-bodied, with ample citrus-like zest on the finish, and should drink well for at least the rest of the year." - 88 points, Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate
