Nexus Mods announced on July 1 that, beginning in August, mod creators would lose the ability to delete their work and all mods uploaded to the site would be permanently archived there. This decision, made to support Nexus Mods’ plans to offer curated lists of mod collections, has rankled many creators who resent losing basic control over their work.
