Mil-Spec Kevlar Cord from 5col Survival Supply has exceptional strength & heat resistance. This braided Kevlar line conforms to MIL-C-87129A specifications. Used in military cargo parachutes and rocketry.
5col Survival Supply is proud to offer Mil-Spec Braided Kevlar Parachute Cord. This cord conforms to the MIL-C-87129A specification (Cord, Fibrous, Aramid Braided). Kevlar cordage is heat-resistant and self-extinguishing at normal temperatures. It has a very high tensile strength for its size, and a high length per linear foot. MIL-C-87129A Kevlar cord was originally developed for use with cargo parachutes, and is popular for use in rocketry applications. Type 5 Features: Approx. Thickness: 0.078 in. (2mm) Color: Natural (Greige) 500 lb minimum break strength Carriers: 16 Basic yarn denier: 1000 Length per pound: 720 ft. Spools 1500' or more in length may contain splices Type 6 Features: Approx.
