This is a double house called "Hou en Trouw" (Dutch saying: "Be Loyal!") in Veenhuizen built in 1897 for the employees of the various institutions. Like most of the buildings of that era in Veenhuizen they were designed by Willem Metzelaar (1849-1919), architect of the Department of Justice.
