Ballista is one of the types of weapons used for shooting. This is mostly for defense since it can only be placed. Used for killing players, and mobs. It requires one bolt per shot. The ballista can be unlocked using the hammer and unlocking all of the structures. Unlike other bows, the Ballista is a structure instead of an item so it is crafted with a hammer. Firing a Bolt out of a Ballista will get you the Machines of War badge.
