Alternate Colouring is a mechanic in the SuperThings Franchise which gives figures a secondary colour, which sometimes replaces the cape colour and body colour, or replaces the body colour only if a figure does not have a cape. In checklists, while their figure is the same character as the original coloured one, their number is different, being one number above the original figure. They appear next to and almost below the original figure image in a smaller size and with a different character box
