When Quantum Break arrived on the PC, it was plagued with various issues, including some bugs and some pretty serious performance problems. The game eventually received some substantial patches that made it playable at 60 FPS on the PC, but users with lower end hardware are still struggling to achieve that framerate even at lower settings. In order to make sure that Gears of War 4 will not suffer the same fate, its developers have decided to add a series of specific PC-related features to the game, including uncapped framerates as well as advanced video settings such as dynamic resolutions.
